详细工作内容
Category Management
- Be familiar with the assigned categories and relative sub-categories if IDM (Logistic, MRO, Office supply, Facilities, Warehousing, Real Estate); or (Chiller Tube, Copper Fabrication Parts, Aluminum Fin, Coils, BPHE, Microchannel, Aluminum extortion parts);
- Analyze data and insights of the assigned category market intelligence and trends
- Manage existing supplier base and develop potential new suppliers for the assigned categories
- Build and drive relationships with suppliers to deliver pricing, quality, delivery and services improvement to be in line with Carrier’s business guidance
- Develop the strategy of the category and review SSRB with cross functional team on regular basis, minimum quarterly
- Achieve category productivity target and lead cost saving activities, will be adjusted on a yearly budgeting process. Minimum 3% year over year efficiency.
- Lead assigned category activities, following WHQ guidance as part of a centrally lead organization
- Contracting, contract management, and risk assessment / mitigation following WHQ guidance
- Conduct key suppliers regular Business Review
- Support global sourcing projects
- Support new program initiatives
- Support on supplier performance improvement objectives
- Developing strong working relationships with all function teams from procurement, Engineering and quality teams. Fully understand products and the purchased material/components of the assigned business unit or region as well as the BU or Region expectations on cost, quality, delivery and service from GCS suppliers.
- Work with WHQ Category to ensure global category strategy alignment and execution;
