Company profile:
The client is a worldwide leader in the development of diverse electronics technologies and solutions for customers in the field of consumer electronics, housing, automotive, enterprise solutions and device industries, etc.
Job purpose:
•Business management that realizes sustainable growth and enhancement of profitability.
- Drafting a business plan that is linked to the management policy of the group and incorporates measures to enhancement of profitability of company.
- Implementation of appropriate resource allocation and risk avoidance based on the forecast management figures.
- Preservation of the company property through proper cash management and asset soundness.
•Maintaining an internal control system that emphasizes compliance.
•Providing information necessary for reporting to the Japanese head office and consolidated business management.
•Introduction of new IT system.
•Human resource development of the finance team members.
Expected Work History and Experience:
•Having the experience of working as Head of Finance Division or Finance senior manager at a manufacturing company
•Having the experience in reporting and providing information to foreign headquarters at a global company is a plus
•Good understanding of how global Finance IT systems work (Experience with SAP system is a plus)
Required Skills and Knowledge:
•Able to manage the entire Finance function of company
•Business Partnership: Ability to effectively partner with company President and with other management members.
•Business Management: ability to realize sustainable growth and enhancement of profitability.
•Strong expertise of managerial accounting. P&L management system per product segment needs to be implemented.
•Expertise maintaining internal control system that emphasizes compliance
•Excellent interpersonal communication skills (accountability, motivating people)
•Ability to lead a team and improve the professional level of the finance team (8 people)
•Experience of working as Head of Finance at a local office of a global manufacturing company
•Experience in IT System change: especially implementing SAP. The company is moving from an existing ERP developed within Panasonic to SAP
•Work experience at a Japanese affiliated company is a plus
•Tax expertise for corporate management
•Experience in reporting and providing information to foreign HQ
