Responsibility:
Problem determination: Isolate the problem to function component via log analysis, problem replication and experiment.
Root cause: Focus on the MFG and field customer issues, and find out the root cause (involving vendors if necessary).
Short term Solution: Understand the customer and MFG issues. Give the short-term solution for the customer or MFG as soon as possible. And support on MFG line or field site if necessary.
Long term Solution: Evaluate the impact to other customers and MFG. Make a solid plan to fix this defect on whole product line and push function team to implement it on time.
Continuous Improvement: Lead the investigation to provide a lesson learned to prevent repeat issues.
Giving solution to fix the customer issues and make sure the satisfaction of the customers.
Requirement:
Bachelor degree or higher in computer science or engineering.
At least 5 years server quality or development experience in IT Companies.
At least 3 years of EE and PCB Layout experience.
Familiar with the server ODM/OEM MFG processes and virtualization.
Familiar with server architecture with extensive knowledge of RAID and VMWare.
Rich experience on server debug and leading complex issue analysis; strong problem solving skills as well as analytical abilities to unravel complex issues in a diverse environment of systems from multiple vendors and then quickly develop a solution for the customer.
Fluently English/Chinese communication skill with internal team and external vendor. Japanese skills would be a great PLUS.
Manage TW/HK customer interface and own excellent communication ability.
