详细工作内容
The Sourcing Business Analyst is responsible for performing primary research (60%) and secondary research (40%) in the field of Purchasing and Supply Management across various industries in Japan, such as advanced industries, agriculture, automotive, chemical, electronics, industrial, manufacturing, mining, pharmaceutical, telecommunications, and oil & gas.

Typical tasks:
Market study
Supplier identification
Supplier risk assessment
Pricing analysis
Key responsibilities:
Understand availability and prospect of procuring goods and services from certain region/country of interests
Identify top suppliers in certain categories
Solicit price quotations for goods or services in certain categories
Maintain supplier database
Perform cost modeling and analysis
Collect insights about the market condition from supplier interview and market research
Manage several concurrent sourcing projects, ensuring that all client needs are understood by the suppliers
Liaise internally with project manager and externally with suppliers and client, clearly articulating process and project milestones
