Job Title: Account Manager South China
Report to: Territory Manager
Business Unit: DSM Engineering Materials
Location: Guangzhou
Challenge of the job:
1. To identify, develop and commercialize new business typically via multiplication of successful existing or new developed applications at new (and existing) customers in South China.
2. Matrix organization.
3. Product line/segment.
4. Maximize successful projects by screening potentials upfront.
5. Identify stakeholders in value chain and convince them about our value proposal
6. Prioritize resources.
The Position:
1. Maintain the relationship and spec in new business in existing accounts
1) Visit customers frequently get more contacts for all the decision maker (not only purchase but also technical, QA etc.)
2) Well-known customers each coming projects and competitor situation so that can provide moderate price and appropriate solution to get the business
3) Well-known customers’ strategy, growth area, application and provide DSM solution accordingly.
4) Forecast and credit management, quotation, price management.
2. Develop and implement business plans with new accounts that will generate growth.
1) Identify key customers with key application which can achieve growth within 5 years
2) Co-Work with team in China, Japan and other regions for business and technical support.
3. Japanese distributors/trader’s management
1) Monthly distributors pipeline management in order to achieve growth.
2) Smartly use traders’ channel to get more business with different Tier1 or molders
The Ideal:
1. 5+ years’ experience of Japanese automotive industry knowledge and product chemistry
2. Proficient in Japanese and English (written & spoken)
3. Result driven, good at learning and communication.
4. Create and manage CRM sales pipeline of key targets and opportunities
5. Bachelor’s or above Degree
